When I seek connection through my paintings, I’m searching for that spark, that fragile yet powerful thread of empathy that links two people through a shared moment of recognition. It might happen through a gesture, a glance, a particular light, or the quiet symbolism embedded in my work. But at its core, it’s always about resonance: when the silent narrative of a painting finds a mirror in the viewer’s own inner world.
Each piece I create carries that intention. It is not only an exploration of identity, emotion, or transition, as many of my works often are, but also an open hand extended towards anyone who finds meaning within it.
